Lu Reid - Lead Vocals, Guitar, Harmonica, Zils

A true "Rock and Roll Animal", Lu's been things and seen places! Her favorite color is sparkle!  She played in cover bands around the San Francisco Bay Area (and even San Jose Civic Auditorium). She relocated to Minnesota, where she jammed regularly with former members of Muddy Waters' band.  She caught the ears of the amazing founder and lead vocalist, Dave Waggoner of legendary biker band CROW, and toured nationally with them.  Lu learned a lot from him, playing everything from bars, festivals, and concerts to hundreds of thousands at Sturgis, while sharing the bill with many of her rock idols.

After meeting guitarist Dave Thomas in Minneapolis, they wrote several songs and relocated to CA.  They joined with Lu’s former bandmates, and Angel's Dream was born.  They won the city-wide Metro magazine’s Battle of the Bands.  They gigged at the infamous Cactus Club (of Rolling Stone notoriety), opening up for metal acts such as LA Guns, played the Hard Rock in Sacramento, and clubs in historic North Beach. The band’s renditions of Led Zeppelin caused bar owners to ask that they create a Zeppelin tribute called Houses of the Holy.

Lu was asked to join another tribute called Lu Zeppelin.  Lu won a radio contest to sing live with Sammy Hagar at the Santa Cruz Civic and a contest singing with Greg Kihn live on his radio show. Soon, CA became too expensive.

After moving back to MN, she met John Lyell. They played in a cover band and then formed the successful, acoustic Zeppelin homage, UnLedded. After several life-altering events, they relocated to Rio Rancho, NM.  They began writing songs, and heavy, hard rock band, ROCKBORN, ignited!

ROCKBORN recorded with the famous, legendary producer, Michael Wagener, in Nashville, who produced, engineered, and mixed their album of originals titled ‘Born To Rock’ which was released on March 6th, 2020, (a week before COVID-19 dropped).  Despite that, the video for ‘Reasons Why I Cry’ has over 2.26 million international views!  Their other video, ‘Rock Me Harder’, has over 277,000 views.  ROCKBORN is consistently played on many internet radio stations.  The band is writing new acoustic songs to be recorded later this year.

Every year, Lu performs with the Tommy Bolin Festival Tribute band in IA.  Her dear friend Johnnie Bolin, hosted these, but sadly passed last year however, the Festival will go on.

Lu is a session singer who produces and arranges studio projects of some of her original music.  She has also written lyrics, melodies, and sung on other’s projects. A prolific songwriter and published poet and lyricist, her originals can be heard all over Europe, Scandinavia, the UK, and Baltic/Slavic countries.  She hosts a segment on a weekly internet radio show called The Rock Casserole on Digital Revolution Radio.

Recently, Lu was nominated to the Iowa Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame.  She will be inducted this year for a Lifetime Achievement Award.

John Lyell - Guitars (6 & 12), Slide, Backup Vocals

As a guitar player for several decades, John Lyell has recorded and performed in numerous Rock and Hard Rock projects as well as Acoustic projects over the years. 

John also composes and commercially releases synthesizer-based instrumental Ambient, Atmospheric and SpaceMusic when he's not busy with band related activities. His Ambient music has been played internationally on terrestrial and internet radio for many years.

Having recorded two commercial releases of acoustic music with a project called “Life As We Know It", John is very adaptable to changing up the pace from electric guitar-based Hard Rock to the subtleties of playing acoustic guitar. 

Since relocating to Rio Rancho, New Mexico, John and Lu Reid (Lead Vocals) recorded their debut album “Born To Rock” with their original Hard Rock project called ROCKBORN which was produced and engineered by legendary Hard Rock Producer/Engineer Michael Wagener (Ozzy Osbourne, Alice Cooper, Skid Row) in the Fall of 2019 at his studio in Nashville, which was then released on March 6th, 2020. 

Unfortunately, COVID pulled the rug out from under ROCKBORN's debut album less than a week after its release. Currently, John and Lu have pivoted to writing acoustic originals for ROCKBORN which will be recorded later this year.

Also, they have now resurrected their acoustic homage to Led Zeppelin, called “UnLedded”, which they started in the Twin Cities area of MN prior to relocating to New Mexico.

John looks forward to bringing the “Unplugged / Acoustic” Led Zeppelin Experience to New Mexico and beyond.

Dino Serna - Bass Guitar

Initially coming out of the Los Angeles area, Dino has been a professional multi-instrumentalist for over 26 years. Having recorded and performed in many projects over the years, he is now adding bass guitar and possibly other acoustic instruments to the New Mexico version of “UnLedded”, the resurrected Acoustic Led Zeppelin project that Lu and John started in the Twin Cities area of MN prior to relocating to New Mexico.

Dino has also lent his talent on bass guitar to the original Hard Rock band ROCKBORN with Lu and John since its inception in 2018.
